You may have noticed that there is now an event calendar available in the site (look to the menu on the left). This is where we will post information about forthcoming meetings of the town council, committees, boards and commissions. Ultimately the listing of agendas and public notices shown on the right will be removed, so the calendar is the best way to stay informed. Selected near-term events will also be posted on the ticker at the top of the home page, but that should not be relied upon to cover the specific item of interest to you.

When looking at the calendar you will see that there is an option to suggest an event. If you have a specific event you'd like posted, and it's of a civic nature (no advertising of private or commercial events, please) then select that option and fill out the form. The suggestion will be reviewed, and if deemed appropriate it will be inserted into the calendar. We can post items far in advance, so there's no need to wait until the last minute to make the suggestion.
