By resolution passed on 12 December the committee structure was changed by the dissolution of six committees and the creation of three.
The Display, Events and Noise committees were dissolved and their functions moved to a newly-created Marketing committee.
The Voter Registration committee was dissolved and re-established as the newly-created Elections committee which has a wider scope of responsibility.
The Roads committee was dissolved and becomes a subcommittee of the newly-created Infrastructure committee which has a wider scope of responsibility.
The CIS committee was renamed the Information Technology committee with a more detailed responsibility.
The Public Intoxication committee was dissolved.
The Charter and Code committee was established.
Up to this time references to the "old" committees have remained under the "Committees and Boards" menu item on this site as an aide to viewers in noting the changes. These references are now being removed.
