Please complete this form and submit with payment. After the form has been reviewed by town staff, you will receive a confirmation email and signed copy of your application. This does not mean your application has been approved. A staff member will contact you regarding the next steps. Due to the application review, public noticing process and scheduling, your hearing date will be at least 30 days after your application has been submitted. Be aware that other Board of Adjustment matters may also be decided at your scheduled meeting. The applications will be discussed in the order they were received.
It is imperative that all necessary documents are submitted, and this form is filled out accurately and completely. You must clearly explain the nature of your request, and the code reference from which you are seeking a variance or special exception. Detailed drawings, plans, presentations, and/or photos should accompany your request. Incomplete forms will delay the scheduling of a Board of Adjustment Hearing. Many applicants enlist the assistance of an attorney to navigate this process, but this is not required.
