Parking Permit Pricing & Purchasing

SEASONAL PARKING PERMIT OPTIONS

Seasonal parking permits will be available for purchase starting April 1st. Parking fees do not go into effect until May 15th. There is no rush to acquire your permit - applicable discounts are available all season long, and we will not run out of permits. Parking permits are not valid at coin meters.

Virtual Parking Permit: This permit negates the need for a physical hangtag. Set up your portal, purchase your seasonal permit, and connect up to 8 vehicles on your account. Only one vehicle registered under your permit may park in town at a time. Additional vehicles parked under the same permit will be ticketed. This is a great option for owners of convertibles or motorcycles who can't use a hangtag but would still like a transferrable permit. Discounts do not apply to virtual parking permits. Parking Permit Hangtag: Parking hangtags will be available for purchase at Town Hall beginning April 1, 2024 priced at $300 each. The hangtag is transferrable to other vehicles. Please secure your hangtag in a locked vehicle. We will not replace "lost" hangtags. In the event of theft, after filing a police report, the purchaser may buy a replacement at half the purchase price.

SEASONAL PARKING PERMIT DISCOUNTS 

Dewey Beach Property Owners: Up to 2 seasonal parking permits priced at $175 each.

Dewey Beach Business Owners: Up to 2 seasonal parking permits priced at $175 each.

Dewey Beach Business Employees: 1 seasonal parking permit priced at $225. Must show proof of employment (employment letter or paystub).

Out-of-Town Business Licensed in Dewey Beach: Up to 2 seasonal parking permits at $225 each.

Seasonal Parking Permits will be reduced to $150 each starting August 1.

SHORT-TERM PARKING PERMIT OPTIONS

Short-term parking permits are non-transferrable. Parking permits are not valid at coin meters.

Weekly (8 Consecutive Days): $100, available for purchase any time from an automated kiosk located outside the Town Hall Building.

Weekend (Friday 10:00am to Monday 10:00am): $55, available for purchase any time from an automated kiosk located outside the Town Hall building.

Daily (24 Hours): $30, available for purchase through the Park Mobile app, or the automated kiosk located outside the Town Hall building.

HOURLY METERED PARKING

Hourly parking is available at all spaces throughout town for $3.50 per hour. Use your Park Mobile app, or park at a coin meter to pay with quarters.
