Here’s a chance to meet your Town Commissioners in person, and discuss any issues you may have related to the town. On August 26th at 4:00pm, the Dewey Beach Civic League will hold a Town Commissioner Candidates’ Forum at the Dewey Beach Life Saving Station on Dagsworthy Avenue in Dewey Beach. We are holding this event to learn more about the candidates’ views on issues important to you and our town. It will be held even if there is to be no election.

The Forum will immediately be followed by our Annual League Membership Meeting at which we elect officers to lead the Civic League in the coming year. Please consider volunteering to serve in one of the leadership positions on our Board of Directors.

As an added bonus, our Town Manager, Bill Zolper, has agreed to say a few words at this meeting about the latest developments in our town. We hope you will join us for what promises to be an interesting and informative event and by all means bring your friends and neighbors. Water and sodas will be available.

Finally, remember that the Dewey Beach Civic League meets for breakfast at the Starboard every Friday morning at 9:00am. You are welcome to join us.
