Sussex County has hired Tyler Technologies to conduct a reassessment of property from October of 2021 to the fall of 2023. The last assessment was done in 1974. Employees from Tyler Technologies will be visiting homes throughout Sussex County, measuring improvements of property, and collecting data. The County should notify the Town of Dewey Beach when they will be conducting their assessment. Once we receive this information, property owners will be notified by email.
