Help Our Lifeguards Get to the USLA National Championships
On Wednesday, July 7, 2021 the City of Rehoboth Beach was host to the USLA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships. We are proud to announce that our Dewey Beach Patrol Mens 4 x 100 Meter Sprint Team won first place in the competition. In addition, our Womens Sprint Team and Womens Rescue Swimming Team also qualified for the USLA National Championships, to be held August 4th - August 7th in South Padre Island, Texas. In total, Dewey Beach Patrol will be sending 10 lifeguards to compete. The patrol is made up of many well-known local residents of the beach area, who will be proudly representing our town, as well as the Sussex County Lifesaving Association.
The Dewey Beach Patrol needs your generous donations to help get our guards to Texas! We appreciate a donation in any amount to assist our hardworking heroes of Dewey Beach in achieving their goal of competing at the national competition.
